SOSNA is a 501(c)(3) non-profit neighborhood association and Registered Community Organization (RCO) for the area of South Philadelphia bounded by South Street, Broad Street, Washington Avenue and the Schuylkill River. Reporting to the SOSNA Board of Directors, the Programs Manager (PM) is the one paid staff person for SOSNA. The PM acts as the liaison between neighbors and the SOSNA Board of Directors and Committee leaders, working closely to design, organize, promote and implement community projects and programming. The PM attends every meeting of SOSNA Committees or projects and monthly Board meetings.
Requirements: Bachelor's degree preferred. Successful candidate must be able to meet light to medium work physical exertion requirements, as position requires moderate physical exertion (neighborhood clean-ups, set-up and breakdown of meeting spaces, etc.).
