2301 Washington Avenue Update

SOSNA has decided to appeal the decision of the Zoning Board of Adjustment (ZBA) to grant variances for the development of 2301 Washington Avenue.
As you all know, SOSNA represents a neighborhood of nearly 13,000 individuals. SOSNA always strives to advocate the most favorable positions for the neighborhood as a whole, but cannot and should not speak for all neighbors, especially for those nearest to 2301 Washington Ave who will be the most affected by this project.

First, a quick note that today the Streets Department dropped off 200 recycling bins at the SOSNA Office. Stop by anytime during office hours to pick one up (MON: 9-7; TUES-THURS: 9-4, FRI: CLOSED).

Recycling Your Christmas Tree

Just a quick note to those getting ready to dispose of your Christmas trees. While many people have put their trees on the sidewalk to be collected with the trash, realize that these trees WILL BE THROWN IN A LANDFILL and NOT RECYCLED.
You can recycle your tree at any of the locations below on either January 9th or 10th, depending on which location you use.
