Meet SOSNA's Neighborhood Ambassadors for Summer 2010!!

• Kahlil Patterson
• Cristal Rosado

Look for these ambassadors throughout the summer.  They'll be walking the neighborhood picking up recyclable material, clearing storm drains, and collecting vital data.  They'll also be signing people up for Recycling Rewards, documenting Philly 311 Service Requests, giving out info on SEPTA and more!

All three Ambassadors are high school students and have been hired in partnership with the Boys and Girls Clubs of Philadelphia, and the Philadelphia Youth Network, through WorkReady Philadelphia, a program that provides students with summer jobs and career training. 

Please join SOSNA in welcoming them to the neighborhood! Do not hesitate to stop them to ask a question or just to introduce yourself. 

WE DID IT!  Thanks to all who joined SOSNA in donating to help keep these pools open.  Because of your help, 70 pools will be open this summer.
